We engaged the Lanta team to fit out our new waterfront office on Princess Wharf. We had a concrete shell to work with, and a vision of an office that showcased our values, fit well into the wharf precient while being a functional workspace for our team. Yealands

Macau Investments engaged Lanta Interiors and Construction in the final quarter of 2014, to undertake extensive re development works on one of our properties situated in Takapuna. These works included not only the re development but the partial demolition of the existing building and negotiating with the existing tenants with regards to relocation of their businesses during the construction period.

Lanta commenced works in the second quarter of 2015 which was based on a design and construct contract for the property with the intention of increasing the office area by an additional 50%. Major initial works included extensive demolition and piling. With the location of the site being in close proximity to other operating businesses Lanta excelled in mitigating any stress to the locally operated businesses around the site that may have been affected.

Major construction was completed on time in the third quarter of 2016, which also included various floor fit out works and alterations based on tenant requests. Should we undertake any further developments Ross and Lanta would be my first point of call, furthermore if I was asked to recommend anyone for any similar works I would without hesitation point them in the direction of Ross and Dave.

Allianz 1 Byron Avenue Takapuna, Auckland

Triumph Capital engaged Lanta Interiors and Construction in 2015/16 to undertake a major redevelopment of two existing, run down office buildings. The works involved: stripping back what was a 1960’s office/warehouse and a late 80’s office building to the bare bones, installing new curtain wall facades, structurally upgrading them both and then joining them together. The end vision was to have one large high spec office building to attract good tenants.

Half way through the process we managed to secure a large occupier for the majority of the building. The occupier had some very demanding visions of their own for the fit-out and decided to engage external contractors to do their fit-out work. To help save costs and time for the tenant we decided to integrate the fit-out with the original basebuild. This could have caused a lot of issues with two different contractors on site and integrating all the services from what was a simple basebuild into what became an extensive fit-out for a large creative tenant, however Lanta dug in and got the job done. This was also done in what most construction companies would consider an impossible time frame.

I can honestly say that I don’t know how I would have completed this project without their extensive knowledge and willingness to help. Ross or Dave would turn up to most of the weekly PCG meetings and even answer the phone on the weekend when I had some crazy idea or the need for some advice. From the outset we found Dave, Ross and the Team at Lanta to be highly professional, clear in their communications and very understanding of the local and global influences on design that we faced. They understood the brief and were able to quickly put this into a clear plan for us to move forward with. The team continued this level of professionalism and service throughout the job.
